Drama Club Production Grant
at Amity High School

As a high school student, Jamie was a member of Amity’s drama program. Two of the highlights of her senior year were being chosen to be an MC for Amity’s “POPS” talent showcase and landing a leading role in the spring drama production, Icarus. In fact, her portrayal of the fading actress, “The Gloria” in that production won her a special recognition award at the annual Connecticut High School Drama Festival. A monetary grant is given each year to support Amity’s Drama Club productions so that aspiring Amity thespians can “light up the stage” as Jamie once did.

2005   The grant was used to purchase authentic period clothing for the club’s spring drama production, Stage Door.
